This license governs the use of the Chapybara API, its data, and related services ("Service") provided by Alpha System ("Company"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the terms of this license.

1. Definitions

• "Service": Refers to the Chapybara API, including all endpoints, data, and functionality provided at chapyapi.com.
• "Data": Refers to any information, content, or data returned by the Service in response to an API request.
• "Commercial Use": Refers to any use of the Service or Data for any purpose that is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, use in a SaaS product, an application that includes advertising, for internal business operations, corporate analytics, lead generation, or in any project that is not for personal, academic, or non-profit use.
• "Permitted Use": Refers to the use of the Service or Data exclusively for personal projects, academic research, and applications that are free to use, generate no revenue, and are not used for business purposes. This includes use in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) projects distributed under an OSI-approved license, provided the project itself is not commercially funded or supported.

2. License Grant

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SERVICE AND DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE DATA.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

7. Termination

This license and the rights granted hereunder will terminate automatically and immediately upon any breach by you of its terms, particularly any instance of Commercial Use.

8. Governing Law

This license shall be governed by the laws of Brazil.
